USL EXPERIENCE:
Vancaeyezeele has 125 appearances in the USL Championship between 4 different clubs. His best two seasons in 2019 and 2020 saw him earn All-League honors. In 2020 with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, he led the league with 1,440 minutes played and a plus/minus of 29. During these seasons, he boasted 32 interceptions, good for league fourth. His most recent stint in the USL Championship came with the Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2022, where he contributed to an Eastern Conference Final appearance.
OUTSIDE THE USL:
Vancaeyezeele began his career with Stade Malherbe Caen 2, a fourth-tier club in the French Championnat National 2 in 2011. After a stint with Hérodville of the French Championnat National 3, Vancaeyezeele made his way to the NCAA in the United States. Joining the College of Charleston’s Division II team, he led them to their first-ever national championship victory. During that same season, he won the NCAA Division II Player of the Year. During this time, he competed for the Mississippi Brilla FC of the USL2 before debuting in the USL Championship. Since then, he has made eight appearances for the French Giana National Team, two of which were in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
