
Today, Hartford Athletic announced the club’s 2024 USL Championship schedule. Athletic will play 34 matches against USL Championship teams, 17 of which will be at home. Hartford begins the 2024 campaign on March 9th, on the road against El Paso Locomotive. Two weeks later on March 23rd, the club will open the doors to Trinity Health Stadium for the home opener against Birmingham Legion FC.
One of the more highly anticipated additions to this year’s schedule is expansion club Rhode Island FC who will visit Hartford on Saturday, June 1st in the first of two matchups between the clubs. Hartford will travel to Beirne Stadium in Smithfield, on the campus of Bryant University, for the second meeting on Saturday, August 10th.
Hartford’s home slate this season will also feature four Friday night games. Athletic will play at home on May 24th, June 21st, July 12th, and July 26th. The final regular season home game in Hartford will be on October 12th against North Carolina FC, who rejoined the USL Championship after spending the past 3 seasons in USL League One. Hartford finishes up the regular season on the road against Orange County SC on October 26th.
