2026 FAQs
What Is The General Run Of Show?
Entire school groups can begin to enter Trinity Health Stadium at 9:30am, and will then have from 9:30am-10:45am to explore Project Displays throughout the concourse. At 10:45am, students and teachers will break down any projects and make their way to their seats. At 11am the team will take the field to begin their training session. The practice will conclude at approximately 12:30pm, at which point there will be brief recognitions and contests on the field. At approximately 1pm schools will make their way to the exits.
What Will We Receive When We Commit To Participate?
All schools in attendance will receive STEM & Soccer Education Day Workbooks upon arrival to the event. The workbook highlights STEM concepts in soccer & stadium engineering and is targeted at Grades 6-8.
How Many Projects Can Our School Display?
Each school is welcome to display one project from each grade in attendance, with a maximum of 3 projects. Please reach out to Tim Burdelski tburdelski@hartfordathletic.com with any questions.
Are There Guidelines Or An Assessment Rubric for Project Displays?
No! STEM & Soccer Education Day is a showcase and celebration of STEM, not a competition. We would like for your school to display projects that you are most proud of. Last year saw a wide variety of projects including poster displays, robotics, solar powered projects, Lego displays, and more!
Can Our Project Displays Utilize Electricity?
Yes! Please ensure you let us know if your project display will require electricity so we can ensure your table is located near an outlet.
When Are Final Numbers and Payments Due?
Payment and final numbers (students & chaperones) must be received by March 10, 2026.
What Are Lunch Options?
All schools are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for students. Limited concessions will be open during STEM & Soccer Education Day.
What If It Rains?
STEM & Soccer Education Day is a rain or shine event. Trinity Health Stadium is an open-air venue. In the event of rain, Hartford Athletic will provide ponchos for attendees and tents for Project Displays, however the STEM Showcase may be impacted. The game would still kick off at 11am. Our games are played rain or shine – only severe weather (i.e. thunderstorms) will lead to a cancellation. In the event of severe weather, the stadium would be immediately evacuated. For this reason, buses must stay parked in the parking lot throughout the duration of the event.
When Should We Arrive?
Setup – Setup begins at 9:00 AM and is *only* open to students who are displaying projects. Students must be accompanied by their teacher(s). For Setup, please arrive to Gate E.
Showcase – ENTIRE SCHOOL GROUPS: Your entire school group may enter Trinity Health Stadium beginning at 9:30 AM.
Where Do We Park?
Busses should drop off in front of gates A, C, or G and then proceed to parking in in Lot 2, directly across from Trinity Health Stadium. (See Trinity Health Stadium Map).
What Are Prohibited Items At Trinity Health Stadium?
The game will be fully staffed with security personnel and all entrants will have bags searched. Please note that security will be lenient with clear water bottles & milk in school lunches, however juice/Gatorade/etc is not permitted. See ‘Prohibited Items at:https://www.hartfordathletic.com/trinity-health-stadium/
