Hartford Athletic have finalized their preseason schedule, consisting of five exhibition matches both locally and at the Premier Sports Complex in Lakewood Ranch, Florida as a part of their partnership with the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. While these matches will not be open to the public, Hartford Athletic will provide scoring updates, photos, and results on their social media accounts.
The Green and Blue kick off their preseason slate with a matchup against nearby MLS side New York Red Bulls on Saturday, February 3rd at Red Bull Arena. The team will head down to beautiful Bradenton, Florida the following weekend, where they will train daily at the Premier Sports Complex and face another MLS challenge against the Colorado Rapids on February 14th. After five days in the sunshine state, Athletic will make a stop at the University of North Carolina to test the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.
Following Hartford’s time down south, they’ll wrap up preseason with final tune-ups against MLS Next Pro competition back in Connecticut. The Boys in Green host New York Red Bulls II on February 23rd, and Philadelphia Union II come to town on March 1st, one week prior to Hartford’s first USL Championship match against El Paso Locomotive FC.
