Logan Gdula (FC Cincinnati) and Collin Martin (Minnesota United FC) have rejoined Hartford Athletic on loan pending league and federation approval. Both players are expected to be active for Wednesday's match against Nashville SC.
Gdula joined Hartford on May 18th and made an immediate impact on the backline. He started all five games he appeared in recording six interceptions and winning 100% of his tackles. He also recorded an 87.1% passing accuracy and scored his first professional goal against Birmingham Legion FC on June 22nd. Logan has earned two spots on the 18-man roster since returning to FC Cincinnati.
On April 23rd, Collin Martin was loaned to Hartford. Collin, who was a mainstay in the Athletic midfield, started six matches where he completed 87.5% of his passes, including 23 of 35 long passes and nine key passes. Collin also recorded 12 interceptions, tied for sixth best on the team. Collin returned to MUFC in June and has made two appearances, including starting and play 70 minutes in a 3-2 victory over Montreal Impact.
Gdula and Martin will continue to wear numbers 24 and 23 respectively.
