There are plenty of parking options around Dillon Stadium with all lots indicated for Hartford Athletic matchdays below:

  • Matchday Parking Cost: $10
  • Club Season Ticket Members: Your parking pass will work for any of the indicated Lots (except for CT Convention Center and Front St. Garages)
  • Lot Hours: Lots will open 3 hours prior to the match.
  • Bulkeley High School: Parking will be available at Bulkeley High School in addition to the below lots. Shuttle service will run from Bulkeley starting one hour prior to kickoff.
  • Overflow Parking: 
    • Bulkeley High School: Parking will be available at Bulkeley High School. Shuttle service will run from Bulkeley starting one hour prior to kickoff.
    • Connecticut Convention Center Garage and Front St. Garage: Overflow parking can also be obtained at these locations but parking fees are subject to those operators as those garages are not controlled by Hartford Athletic.

*Note: With other events occurring at the Connecticut Convention Center on July 13th, it is recommended that fans use Lot 2 through Lot 6 for the July 13th date. Shuttle service will not be available from the Connecticut Convention Center on this date. Shuttle service from the Connecticut Convention Center will operate as needed based on attendance. If you intend to park at the Connecticut Convention center and utilize a shuttle service to the stadium, please check this webpage prior to arriving to determine if a shuttle is running on the day of the event.





Tailgating is permitted only in Lot 2 on Hartford Athletic match dates beginning three (3) hours prior to the start of the game and ending thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the game. To ensure safety, comfort and enjoyment, all patrons of Dillon Stadium must adhere to the Hartford Athletic tailgating policy.

Responsibility and Safety Reminders:

  • A minimum legal drinking age to purchase or publicly consume alcohol is 21 years.
  • Underage drinking is a criminal misdemeanor.
  • Distribution to minors can be a criminal misdemeanor or greater offense.
  • All fans are responsible for their own safety and legal conduct.


  • Tailgating is permitted three hours before the game for all fans and ends 30 minutes prior to the start of the game.
  • Anyone in the parking lot 30 minutes prior to the start of the game must either enter the stadium or leave the parking lot.
  • Flat beds, trailers, other stages or platforms are prohibited in the parking lot.
  • Please leave room for your fellow tailgaters — tailgating activities should be confined to the area immediately adjacent to your vehicle and cannot obstruct the free flow of other vehicles and/or pedestrians.
  • Fans wishing to park together should enter the parking lots at the same time — saving spaces for other vehicles is prohibited.
  • Ball playing and frisbee tossing in the parking lot and roadways are safety hazards and are prohibited.
  • No charcoal fires, open flames or large grills are permitted. Propone grills listed as portable or tabletop are allowed. There shall be no commercial or residential grills allowed. Fuel size one pound (16.4 oz).
  • Deep fryers or any oil-based cooking or frying is prohibited.
  • The unauthorized sale of merchandise, food or beverage is prohibited.
  • Alcohol is permitted in Lot 2, but please drink responsibly. No drinking games can be played in the parking lot (i.e. beer pong, beer funnels and ice luges).
  • Intoxicated Guests – Hartford Athletic reserves the right to deny entry or sale of alcohol to any guest that appears to be intoxicated. These individuals may be ejected from the stadium and/or subject to legal action.
  • Kegs and bulk quantities of alcohol are not permitted in any vehicle, in the parking lots, or on Dillon Stadium property.
  • No unmanned aerial systems (i.e. drones) or any other remote controlled or tethered flying objects are allowed in the parking lot.
  • Trash receptacles are located throughout the parking lot. Please bag and dispose of trash in these trash receptacles to make it safer for vehicles exiting the lot.
  • Any violation of the tailgating policies may result in the loss of parking privileges and/or the towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense.

Hartford Athletic will provide a safe and enjoyable experience to all spectators in attendance. Spectators are required to refrain from the following. Fans in violation of these policies will be subject to ejection, arrest and possible loss of future ticket privileges. 

  • Behavior that is socially unacceptable, offensive, unruly or illegal in nature. 
  • Using or displaying foul or inflammatory language. 
  • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing teams’ fans. 
  • Throwing objects onto the field. 
  • Entering the playing field or interfering with the progress of the match. 
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment that results in irresponsible behavior 


Hartford Athletic encourages responsible drinking. Proper identification is required to purchase any alcoholic beverage. The purchase limit may be reduced, and sales may be discontinued at any time at the discretion of Team management and Hartford Police Department. Fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium if they are visually intoxicated.

  • Spectators must be 21 years old to purchase alcohol. 
  • All spectators under 30 years old will be required to present an ID. 
  • Limit of two beers sold per purchase per spectator. 
  • Alcohol will not be allowed into or out of the stadium. 
  • Alcohol sales will end at the 70th minute. 
  • Team management reserves the right to discontinue sales at any time. 


Banners and signs are permitted, but must be in good taste, cannot obstruct another spectators view and cannot cover any stadium signage. Team management reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of the stadium signage policy. 


Spectators may leave the stadium and re-enter. However, spectator must exit scan out of the stadium and rescan upon re-entry to the stadium. 


Certain exceptions to the list of prohibited items will be made for those fans attending Hartford Athletic matches as a member of a recognized Supporters Group, and for items pre-approved by Hartford Athletic, United Soccer League, and Dillon Stadium. 

  • Animals, other than assistance dogs
  • Scooters and other powered devices
  • Weapons of any kind (not applicable to Local law enforcement personnel, and authorized security personnel)
  • Compressed and liquefied gases, flammable and pyrotechnical substances and items regardless of their type
  • Aerosol cans or pressurized containers
  • Unlawful narcotic, psychotropic and/or toxic substances
  • Umbrellas (fans should bring raincoats/ponchos for inclement weather)
  • Moving and gliding aircraft or other models and any missile or projectile like object
  • Strollers or baby seats may not be taken into the stands or left in section entrances
  • Bikes, skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, shoes with wheels
  • Backpacks and large bags over 14x14x6 inches (subject to search)
  • Laser pointers or flashlights
  • Selfie sticks and/or monopods
  • Masks (worn in your seat only, must be removed when leaving your section)
  • Smoking or tobacco products.
  • Frisbees or inflated balls of any kind
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Metal or glass containers of any kind
  • Un-approved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
  • Insulting any other persons (which includes by use of banners, signs and other means of visual propaganda) and carrying out any other activities that humiliate and/or insult people, their human dignity or business reputation
  • Acting, chanting or using language in any way that is discriminatory or extremist, aimed against a country, person or group based on race, color of skin, ethnic, national or social background and wealth, birth or any other status, gender, disability, age, language, religion, political or other opinion, sexual orientation or on any other grounds.

Severe Weather

In the event of severe weather, stadium personnel will make announcements to provide direction to all fans in attendance.



As a part of the original Colt gift, the lands of Dillon Stadium and Colt Park have long been a treasured community asset. Steeped in history, Dillon Stadium is an iconic Hartford venue. As a FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) project dedicated in 1935, the stadium reached great heights before falling into disrepair – playing host over the years to everything from the annual Thanksgiving high school football game to professional soccer to concerts from the likes of the Rolling Stones, Beach Boys and the Grateful Dead.
