About the W League
The USL W League serves as the nation’s premier pre-professional league, developing the next generation of women’s talent both on and off the field, and enhancing the women’s soccer pipeline between college and professional soccer. An integral part of the USL Women’s Pathway, the W League offers a summer platform for athletes to compete at a high level and also retain NCAA eligibility. With over 90 teams across the United States, the USL W League will bring elite women’s soccer to communities across the U.S., creating more opportunities to play, watch, and work in the women’s game.

Meet the Head Coach
Club-pro Danny Barrera has been named Head Coach of Hartford Athletic’s upcoming USL W League Team! After setting multiple club records on Men’s First Team, Barrera will now lead the women’s side and aim to build a high-level development pathway for female athletes in Connecticut.
