TAMPA, Fla. – On the heels of a thrilling, come-from-behind victory in United Soccer League Championship action on Saturday night, three Hartford Athletic players earned weekly accolades by being named to the USL Championship Team of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Defender Arturo Diz Pe, midfielder Sebastian Anderson, and midfielder Barry Coffey each claimed a spot on the USL Championship Team of the Week for their respective performances in a 3-2 win over Birmingham Legion FC. Additionally, defender Jordan Scarlett was named to the bench.
Diz Pe claimed his second weekly honor of the 2026 season after proving to be a force in the backfield, registering team-highs in clearances (6) and interceptions (5) while playing the full 90 minutes.
Anderson was a difference-maker in the midfield, earning his second weekly honor of the campaign with a two-assist outing and eight chances created. The 24-year-old also chipped in defensively with three interceptions and a pair of clearances.
Coffey found his way onto the USL Championship Team of the Week for the second straight week and third time overall this season after notching his team-leading fifth goal in the first half of Saturday’s win. Additionally, the 25-year-old recorded three shots on target and blocked a pair of tries at the other end of the pitch.
Scarlett earned a spot as a bench honoree, scoring the match-winning tally on Saturday in the 74th minute.
Hartford Athletic travels to Charleston Battery for a USL Championship matchup on Wednesday, September 2nd, at 7:00 p.m.
