HARTFORD, Conn. – Hartford Athletic and midfielder Andrés Hernández have agreed to mutually terminate their contract, announced by the club on Friday afternoon.
The 26-year-old made 15 appearances with Hartford in United Soccer League Championship play this season plus another five in Cup matches, where he scored each of his two goals.
“We thank Andrés for all of the great work he did here and helping us be in a strong position heading into the last third of the season,” said General Manager and Head Coach Brendan Burke. “We wish him nothing but big success in his next stop.”
Hartford Athletic return to the pitch on Saturday, August 29th, hosting Birmingham Legion FC at Trinity Health Stadium.
