BACK ON HOME TURF
For the first time since May 29, and the fourth time this season, Hartford is set to occupy Trinity Health Stadium for a star-studded, inner-division matchup. Athletic head into Monday night’s tilt following a 1-1 tie with Vermont Green FC. Despite the tie, Hartford holds first place in the division on a goal-differential tiebreaker. While a strong defensive structure with Lana Gibbs between the pipes has helped Hartford tremendously this season, offensive powerhouses Ashley Reyes, Jocyline Koffi, Rachel Wygant, and Rebeca Frisk will look to strike for Hartford to gain crucial points tonight.
SCOUTING REPORT
New England Mutiny sit in fourth place within the Northeast Division standings, sporting a 1-3-2 overall record and a goal differential of +1. Mutiny arrives to Monday’s matchup currently on a two-match skid, featuring identical 2-1 defeats to Vermont Green FC and Hudson Valley Crusaders.
