ROSTER MAKE-UP
Hartford Athletic Head Coach Danny Barrera has architected an all-star squad in his first season at the helm. Most players join Athletic from powerhouse, NCAA Division I programs like UConn, USC, Providence, Duke, and more, while a handful of others found their way to Hartford’s turf in other ways. Much of the club calls Connecticut home, giving them much more to play for than just the colors on their kit. Barrera’s roster is hungry to carry their pre-season energy into a positive debut in front a packed crowd at Trinity Health Stadium tomorrow night.
SCOUTING REPORT
Vermont Green FC also makes their USL W League debut on Tuesday night following multiple seasons of exhibition play. Their roster, comprised of mostly New England talent, features seven athletes from the University of Vermont and another six from Boston College. The rest of the roster is built with members from 17 different colleges and universities.
