The Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau assisted Hartford Athletic to score a positive result at its four-day preseason training regimen, taking in a real, authentic Florida experience on the state’s Gulf Coast.
The first team returned to its “southern home” at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch for the second consecutive year. The state-of-the art-facility is operated by the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and provided the perfect sunny backdrop for the club. Premier Sports Campus boasts 23 FIFA-regulation pitches, including a stadium with more than 3,000 seats, giving Hartford plenty of space to work ahead of the 2024 season.
After securing a 2-2 draw with MLS side Colorado Rapids, the team stretched out on the sugar-white sand of Anna Maria Island, free to roam the barrier island and its trademark turquoise waters. There, a personalized, VIP experience furnished by AMI Cabanas awaited the team. Rested after a day in the sun, the team relaxed in their accommodations at the Even Hotel, a 128-room facility near the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch. The local colors of the Bradenton Area left vivid memories for the team and staff.
