Hartford Athletic and the CIAC announced today that the 2021 Boys and Girls Soccer State Championships will be held at Dillon Stadium. The eight championship matches will take place the weekend of November 20th with four matches happening on each day.
"We are happy to announce that Dillon Stadium will host all eight Boys and Girls Soccer State Championship games this year,” said Gregg Simon, CIAC Associate Executive Director. “When we used Dillon Stadium for four state championship games in 2019, there was such a tremendous vibe. The kids come out of the locker room, into the tunnel, out on to the field, there's nothing quite like playing in a professional soccer stadium.”
“Hartford Athletic is once again excited to host the CIAC Soccer State Championships at Dillon Stadium,” said Joe Calafiore, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for Hartford Athletic. “Dillon Stadium has once again become a hub for our community and serves as the perfect jewel event venue for the State Championships.
