HISTORY CONTINUES
Hartford Athletic looks to build off of a historic, 7-0 win over AC Connecticut on Wednesday night. While the results didn’t end in their favor between their first two matches, resulting in a pair of ties, it seemed like everything clicked and fell into place last night. Athletic erupted for seven goals, including six in the second half, on 27 total shots. Ashley Reyes (2 goals), Rebeca Frisk (1 goal, 1 assist), and Shea Kelleher (1 goal, 1 assist) each sparked Hartford’s offensive onslaught while Natalie Chudowsky potted the club’s first-ever goal in the 30th minute. Athletic will look to bring that same energy and hunger into Friday’s matchup despite just a day of rest in between the two tilts.
