CAPPING A HISTORIC INAUGURAL CAMPAIGN
In their debut season, Hartford has impressed fans, the community, and the city in more ways than one. Athletic currently holds a 4-2-3 overall record in a competitive Northeast Division that features two clubs averaging over two points per match. The roster, primarily comprised of collegiate talent, features 12 players who have scored for Hartford this season, with Ashley Reyes and Taylor Jenkins leading the scoring onslaught. In goal, Lana Gibbs and Katrina Chorzepa have been brilliant, helping Hartford reach four wins in its first-ever nine matches. Most notably, Natalie Chudowsky was recently selected to train with the United States (U-18) Youth National Team. This team has left its mark on a community hungry for professional women’s soccer. Hartford Athletic is now set up for success in the future, touching down impressively in its first-ever season while undoubtedly inspiring the next generation of women’s soccer players across the state.
SCOUTING REPORT
AC Connecticut arrives to the final match of their season sporting an 0-8-1 overall record, good for fifth place in the division. Last time out, they fell to New England Mutiny by a 4-1 score with Julianna Vano scoring early into the contest. Hartford Athletic and AC Connecticut have met twice this season with both matches ending in dominant, shutout wins for Athletic (7-0, 4-0).
