Gómez made his Hartford debut in June of 2021. He played 723 minutes over 13 appearances with 10 starts. He had 2 assists, 8 key passes and completed 80.1% of his passes, including 60.7% of his long passes.

Gómez made his professional debut for Mineros de Guayana in 2017 at only 18 years of age. He played 12 matches that season and helped Mineros win the Venezuelan Cup. He was loaned out in 2018 to Atletico San Francisco in the Dominican Republic and during his only season there he helped the team finish runner-up in the championship. He returned to Mineros and played the 2019 and 2020 season there, appearing in a combined 30 games, and scoring his first and only professional goal so far.
