Maggie Kershnar
Maggie Kershnar is just a junior in high school, and this year she captained Amity Regional High School to the CIAC Class LL Final – played at Hartford Athletic’s Trinity Health Stadium. Although they fell to Greenwich, the Spartans had a fabulous 2025 season which included a 12-game winning streak in the regular season followed by a five-game undefeated streak in the post season. At forward, Kershnar was a crucial part of Amity’s offensive success and was selected to the Class LL CGSCA All-Region and All-State teams as a result. The Woodbridge, CT native plays for Connecticut Football Club’s ECNL team and trains with the elite program Ginga FC. Kershnar has verbally committed to play Division 1 soccer at University of Connecticut (Class of 2031) after she finishes her stellar career at Amity Regional.

JULiana garcia
Juliana Garcia is a junior at Northeastern University, where she has had a successful career playing Division 1 soccer with the Huskies (Class of 2027). Over three years with the team, Garcia has made 31 appearances and scored one goal. Prior to Northeastern, the New Haven, CT native attended Sacred Heart Academy, where she was a member of the girls team for two years. In her first year on the squad, the Sharks won the Class M tournament championship and Garcia was named tournament MVP. Additionally, she was named to the All-Conference, All-Area and All-State teams both years she was on the team. The forward/midfielder was also a member of the Oakwood Soccer Club for six years, winning the U17 Girls’ Academy National Championship in 2022.

mya johnson
Mya Johnson joins Hartford Athletic after an incredibly successful five-year career at Connecticut College. The 5’4” forward amassed a whopping 4,609 minutes over 66 appearances and 64 starts for the Camels. Johnson ended her collegiate career ranked second in program history in points and goals with 80 and 33 respectively. For her outstanding performances, the Old Lyme, CT native was named to the All-NESCAC First Team three times (2021, 2022, and 2023), the USC All-Region: First Team once (2021) and Second Team twice (2022 and 2023) and the NEWISA All-New England Third Team once (2023). Prior to Connecticut College, Johnson was a standout for Lyme-Old Lyme High School, racking up 101 career goals and 41 assists. She was a two-time conference player of the year, a three-time all-conference and all-state selection and a two-time all-region honoree, along with being named CSOA State Tournament MVP twice and the 2019 Connecticut Sports Writers’ Alliance Female Athlete of the Year. During Johnson’s tenure, L-OL High School won four state championships and a pair of conference crowns.
MIDFIELDERS

Emma Gregorski
Emma Gregorski is a South Glastonbury, CT native who currently plays for Providence College (class of 2029). The 5’7” midfielder had an outstanding freshman season, making appearances in all 16 games for the Friars and earning a spot in the starting XI for 11 of them. Gregorski also added two assists to her stat sheet. At the high school level, Gregorski was a standout two-year captain for the Loomis Chaffee School. Over her four-year career, she scored 27 goals and added 22 assists, while also earning Connecticut All-State honors twice (2021, 2023) and Boston Globe All-Star Honors in 2021 and being named to the All-NEPSAC Team in 2021 and the WNEPSSA All-Star Team. She was also selected as the Loomis Chaffee offensive MVP in 2021 and defensive MVP in 2023. Loomis Chaffee made three NEPSAC quarterfinal and one semifinal appearances during her tenure. Gregorki also spent five years competing for FC Stars in the ECNL, leading her team to a Final Four appearance in 2025 and earning 2023–24 ECNL New England Player of the Year, 2023–24 ECNL All-American honors and 2023–24 ECNL 1st Team All-Conference honors.

Jocyline Koffi
Jocyline Koffi is currently a senior at Suffield Academy, where she is a captain of the girls soccer team. The dynamic, playmaking forward had an incredibly successful 2025 season, earning a spot on the All-NEPSAC team and the New England All-Region Team, while also being selected for the Senior Bowl Game and the WWNEPSSA All-Star Game. Koffi is also known as being an outstanding and creative midfielder for her club team, Connecticut Football Club. A native of the Ivory Coast, Koffi was called up to the national team in October of 2025 for the country’s 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches. She has signed with Providence College to play Division 1 soccer this coming fall (Class of 2030).

Taylor Jenkins
After two successful seasons with the University of Connecticut, Taylor Jenkins transferred to University of Southern California where she will be finishing out her sophomore year and preparing for the fall 2026 season with the Trojans (Class of 2028). As a freshman at UCONN, the Milford, CT native made 13 appearances, with three starts, and netted one goal. The 2025 season saw Jenkins start all 18 games that the Huskies played and finish third on the team for minutes with 1,478. The sophomore midfielder added two goals – both of which were game-winners – to help power her team to the Big East Tournament semifinal and the second round of the NCAA tournament. Additionally, Jenkins was selected to the Third Team All-Big East and the United Coaches Fourth Team All-East Region. She also had an extremely successful high school career with St. Joseph’s, including being named to the All-American team and invited to the All-American game in 2023.

Ashley Reyes
Ashley Reyes joins the Hartford Athletic Women after an incredibly successful four-year career with the University at Buffalo Division 1 women’s soccer team (Class of 2026). The 5’5” midfielder made appearances in all 19 games of her senior season and was in the starting lineup for 17 of those. Reyes added two goals and one assist, including a game-winning goal versus Mercyhurst, to her stat sheet. Across her other three seasons with the Bulls, the Port Chester, NY native made 34 appearances for almost 1,000 minutes, while also contributing two goals and two assists. Buffalo were MAC Conference Champions her freshman year (2022). Additionally, Reyes was named to the Academic All-MAC Team three times over her career. Reyes also has experience at the international level, receiving a call up to the Ecuador Youth National Team in 2024 and competing in the CONMEBOL Women’s U20 Championship. She has also made appearances with the Ecuador Senior National Team. Reyes is a product of New York Soccer Club Girl’s Academy and Port Chester Senior High School.

Diana Baffor
Diana Baffor joins Hartford Athletic after a successful freshman season playing Division III soccer at Hamilton College (Class of 2029). The 5’2” midfielder made 15 appearances for a total of 640 minutes. Additionally, she added two goals and one assist over the course of the season. Prior to Hamilton, Baffor was a four-year starter and captain for Suffield Academy. The Old Akrade, Ghana native had a spectacular high school career, scoring 28 goals and recording 65 assists. For her consistent performances, Baffor was a four time All-NEPSAC selection, a NEPSAC Junior All-Star & WWNEPSSA All-Star, a two time All-State selection, and a four time team MVP. During her tenure, Suffield Academy were three time WWNEPSSA Class B Champions and NEPSAC Class B Champions in 2021. At the club level, Baffor was named to the ECNL Girls All-Regional Team. She is also an alumni of the elite Right2Dream academy.

alex ackerman
Alex Ackerman is a junior at Hall High School in West Hartford, where she plays as an attacking center midfielder. She is known for her skillful ball control and goal-scoring prowess. For her performance, Ackerman was named to the All-Conference Central Division First Team as a sophomore and as a junior. The young star is also a member of the Hartford Athletic Youth Academy’s U17 Boys Team. She has also spent time with elite local clubs FSA and Oakwood Soccer Club.
DEFENDERS

Riley Prozzo
Riley Prozzo is another member of the University of Connecticut women’s team that will be joining Hartford Athletic this summer (Class of 2028). The Southington, CT native began her collegiate career in the ACC with Boston College. As a freshman, Prozzo made four appearances for the Eagles before transferring to UCONN for her sophomore year. With the Huskies, Prozzo made 11 appearances for a total of 238 minutes. She added one assist in UCONN’s 2-0 win over St. John’s. Prior to her collegiate career, Prozzo was a four year member of the Southington High School Girl’s Soccer Team, where she earned three All-Central CT Conference Team honors. The 5’8” defender was also the captain of the team and ran track for the school in the offseason. At the club level, Prozzo played for local ECNL club Farmington Sporting Arena FC.

janayah body
Janayah Body just finished her junior year at the University of New Haven, where she had a stellar season as a defender for the Chargers (Class of 2027). The West Hartford, CT native made 14 appearances, with 13 starts, and logged 1,085 minutes. She even added two assists to help power her side’s offense. Over Body’s entire career at New Haven, she has made 32 appearances with 27 starts and logged over 2,000 minutes. She has also added two goals and three other assists. At the high school level, Body was a four-year starter for the Lawrence Academy (in Groton, MA) girl’s soccer team. During her tenure, the Spartans were two time NEPSAC semi-finalists (2019, 2021) and NEPSAC Class B Finalists in 2022. At the club level, Body has spent time with elite clubs FSA, Oakwood and FC Stars. She is known for being a versatile player who can step into any role on the field.
