Match For a Cause Presented by Liberty Bank

Following our mission of “building the community through the beautiful game,” Hartford Athletic is pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Match For A Cause presented by Liberty Bank on October 5th. Each year, Hartford Athletic players wear unique, one-night-only jerseys for the special night. All game-worn jerseys are signed by the players and auctioned off with all proceeds going to a local charity. This year, Hartford Athletic and Liberty Bank are proud to support Our Piece of the Pie.

PLAYER ISSUED JERSEY ONLINE AUCTION

Fans will have the ability to bid on player-issued, player-signed Hartford Athletic jerseys from the match in the online auction! Net proceeds from the online auction will benefit Our Piece of the Pie, a nonprofit organization in Hartford. Here’s how you can participate:

• Bidding begins on September 26th
• This is a standard online auction – enter your bid until the deadline. 
• Jersey bidding starts at $120 with buy-it-now options
• Online auction will end at halftime of the game on October 5th.

About Our Piece of the Pie

Our Piece of the Pie (OPP) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth in Greater Hartford, CT, by providing personalized, comprehensive support to help them succeed in education and employment. OPP works with youth ages 14-24, offering services in personal development, academic achievement, and workforce readiness. Through initiatives like mentoring, job training, and alternative education, OPP helps young people overcome barriers and build brighter futures. Each youth is paired with a specialist to create an individualized plan for long-term success.
